Is it a good idea to send multiple GRE scores? Is that looked upon negatively?

A bit more information: I am applying to Psychology and Cognitive Science PhD programs. The programs tend to be a bit more quant-based. I want to send in both of my GRE scores, but I'm worried that might hurt me more than help me. Here are the two score sets:

165 Verbal (96 Percentile), 162 Quant (80 Percentile), 5.5 Writing (98 Percentile)

169 Verbal (99 Percentile), 161 Quant (77 Percentile), 5.5 Writing (98 Percentile)

Basically the issue is, 77 percentile isn't high enough of a quant score for what I want to do and the programs I'm applying to, but I reaaaaaally want to show off my 169 Verbal so I wanted to send in both scores. But I don't know what to do. Please help!

Hi!

I think that you don't have to send in both. In fact, I would suggest you send in your 165V 162Q and 5.5W score because your percentile rank for quant is better. Your 169 verbal is impressive but so is your 165!! Really, your scores are great so it probably wouldn't hurt you to send both but if I were you I would send just one.

Best of luck!
