Credit hours vs units

Hi! I was wondering if anyone attended a college that did units as compared to credit hours. I was a transfer student and the school I went to freshman year did units. Each class I took was either 1 or 1.5 units. These classes transferred into the university I graduated from as 3.6 or 5.4 credits (which is such a weird number and CSDCAS doesn’t have an option for those specific numbers) 

I’m just trying to figure out what to put on CSDCAS. It says 1 and 1.5 on my transcript from university number one, but on university number two it says 3.6 and 5.4. 

If anyone experienced anything this, I would love some insight as to what to put since CSDCAS asks for credits.
