Reach out to professors_2019 Fall PhD application

I only reached out to one school before submitting all my applications for 2019 Fall PhD in Anthropology. Can I still reach out to professor now? Is it too late to connect with professors？

I would advise against reaching out now that applications are in. It can be interpreted as a desperate attempt to try and snag an interview.
