jpp5108 Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 My application to UPenn CIS has been submitted since mid-December, and 2 of my 3 LORs were submitted within a few days of that. The application deadline was 2/1 and my last letter writer didn't submit her letter until yesterday (2/3) despite me giving her several reminders. Am I just screwed?
lovekilledinos Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 Nah, you're fine. Letter writers have a grace period of about a week or so after the deadlines to submit their letters. I know this because my letter writer told me. He said he'd get to it. After the deadline passed.
havemybloodchild Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 You’re totally good. This is a fairly common situation and I haven’t seen anyone be penalized for it, usually up to a week or so. Don’t stress!
