The invitation says they can cover travel costs, but it doesn't seem clear on who will actually book my flight. Is it usual for the department to handle all of this? NeilM Posted February 6, 2019 Share Posted February 6, 2019 Most of the time you make all your own reservations and then forward the receipts to the appropriate person for reimbursement. I have seen amounts from $200 to $800, sometimes its just airfares, sometimes you can get everything reimbursed including room and board, sometimes you are housed by grad students.... you should ask the school directly !
