Cfill10 Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 Hi, Can anyone tell me about the Columbia admissions policy? I have been recommended by the department for admission but apparently the GSAS Dean has final say. Is this a rubber stamp procedure or could I still get denied?

The department admitted you, but since funding comes through GSAS you're technically not in until GSAS mobilizes for paperwork. (That is what happened for me for my acceptance procedure with Classical Studies)
