Meowza
Hi all! I’ve searched around here high and low for some answers, but found most to be in regards to clinical psychology and other fields. My question is in regards to School Psychology, specifically PsyD programs and waitlists. I interviewed (at U. Albany) and was waitlisted with a letter stating that “historically, they have been able to accept students off of the waitlist,” but realistically, what does that mean? Does that actually happen? Or is it like a back burner slowly waiting to die out with the longest prolonged rejection ever? I’m sincerely heart broken and really hoping it happens more often than I think it does, especially since it seems at least one other person, thus far, is waitlisted as well. Any insight is appreciated.
