murph278 Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 Hi! I'm a junior undergrad at Purdue University with a 3.75 GPA (hopefully graduating with a 3.8). I take ASL and interned at an ABA therapy place. I hold VP for a honor group and am doing 2 research programs this year. While all this is great, I'm still freaking out about the grad school application process. For those who applied to Purdue University for grad school in SLHS, can ya'll let me know your credentials and whether you got in or not? I'm aware every university judges differently, but still want some input. Best!
MIslp Posted March 5, 2019 Posted March 5, 2019 Hi there! I just got accepted to Purdue's program last Tuesday and I'll give ya all my credentials and stuff haha I'm a senior right now, my overall GPA is 3.97 and CSD is also 3.97. I got a 153 verbal, 155 quant, and 5 analytical. In high school, I had experience working with the special education classes which is what lead me to the world of SLP. I worked as an ABA therapist summer of 2018, and currently work as a behavioral specialist for a company that works with families. I've mostly been working with foster kids. I also have done some research work for a professor. A little bit over the summer but mostly Fall 2018 semester. Hope this helps. It seems like you've got great credentials and would be a really good candidate!
