I am accepted by Harris during their EA section. It is a great surprise as I dream about joining a rigorous academic community like UChicago all the time. Anyway, I try to get more detailed info about the school before I make the final decision, and I'm mostly considering about two aspects of it:

1. I recently noticed that the class size of Harris, especially MPP program, has been generously increasing during the past several years. I'm a little worried that the greater class size may sometimes lead to less attention from professor and career service.

I heard that Harris had moved to a new building in December, 2018, so I assumed the continuing expansion was carefully planned. However, I am looking forward from any current students or candidates of Harris to sharing some personal opinions.

2.I'm an international student who enjoy economics and math, so one reason for me to apply for Harris is that I can have a wonderful opportunity to dive myself into these fields, and I always think about pursuing a doctoral degree of policy after my MPP program. I was told Harris is a good place for doing research and developing an academic path comparing with other top policy schools in US. I will be so grateful if anyone could share some standpoint towards this topic with me.

Thanks ahead for your time and help!

I recommend posting this in the Harris 2019 channel instead of as its own topic.

That makes sense?I'll try it later.

Thanks for your response!

You're overthinking this. The Harris program has only grown stronger in recent years. You're definitely headed to the right place for public policy research. Go and enjoy.
