antioxidant17 Posted March 8, 2019 Posted March 8, 2019 Hi all! So I was recently rejected (as I expected) from UPenn's Education, Culture, and Society PhD program. A few days ago, I got an email from the director of the ECS MS.Ed program saying that although they couldn't admit me to the PhD program, they would like to apply to the MS.Ed program because they think I would be a good fit there. Does anyone know anything about the MS.Ed program? I think it's really expensive and they don't have that much funding. I'm also wondering how easy it is for graduates to then be admitted into a PhD program at Penn. My sister knows some people who've been affiliated with Penn GSE and they said that Penn does sometimes favor applicants they know. If anyone has other info on this program I'd be very grateful!
