Post Diploma or Post degree

Dear All,

In an application for a PhD in business administration from an American univerisity, is a post degree preferred to a post diploma? Or does the selection committee value the brand of the B school from where MBA is done? Because in India, where I plan to do my MBA, many post degree courses are offered by colleges that are less competitive than the top cream. Most of the top colleges here award post diplomas. So getting an admission in a post degree course would be that much easier. But on the other hand a few top branded post diploma courses offer 1 year courses which saves time. Since I am looking to go straight into PhD after my masters course, which kind would suit me?

Why are you doing an MBA if you know you want to go for a PhD? Sorry, I'm not sure that answers your question, but american universities really don't require you to have a Masters degree of any sort when you apply for PhD programs. It might help (again, not sure how much an MBA would help since it is very "non-academic") but really not required. I do not have a masters degree but will be joining a PhD program in the fall.

Not sure how much that helps but just thought I'd give my two cents :-/

Hello, I have complete my Btech but the problem is that my degree is not come and also not chances to comes in upcoming next 3 months. Actually I am selected in a company and they require my degree. So I want a fake diploma degree. So is that possible?
