west.865 Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 I just got my official scores back from the GRE and my cumulative GPA probably isn't going to change much in one semester (I'll be entering my 4th year), so I figure it's time to get a feel for the caliber/tier of schools I should start looking at. GRE: Quant = 161 (77th), Verbal = 158 (80th), Analytical = 4.5 (82nd) GPA = 3.162 School = Ohio State Major = Pharmaceutical Sciences Research = A summer in bioinformatics, and this summer I'm doing iGEM (Synthetic Bio/Microbial stuff) LORs = Professor (had twice already, will have again in fall), Advisor for iGEM team (can probably speak to research experience), Supervisor for bioinformatics work (he liked my work, but the work isn't too related to what I want to go to grad school in) I want to study either medicinal chemistry or pharmacology (preferably med chem), and I'm trying to gauge out realistic chances I have for grad school.
cephalexin Posted June 27, 2019 Posted June 27, 2019 pharmCAS provides information about some (but not all) graduate programs in pharmaceutical science (including med chem and pharmacology), including recommended GRE scores. That might be a good place to start. However, not all programs use pharmCAS, and so you may also want to look at American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy's website. west.865 1
