Hi, everyone

I had applied for the MS in Chemical Engineering and had been admitted to both New Jersey Institute of Technology and Illinois Institute of Technology.

IIT admitted me with Professional Master's degree while NJIT is M.S.

The tuition fee in IIT is about $5,000/year and $400/credit cheaper than NJIT

I want to find a job in industry field after graduation. So I think place is an important part.

Both schools are not very good......, but they are all near the big cities. I don't know which school will offer me better job oppotunities and which school should I go.

Could anybody give me any advice and reason?

Thanks a lot!

Can you ask the admissions person a list of where alumni are working? If you have an idea of what you want to do, it helps to know if that school has sent someone down a similar path.

As for money, the less is better. However, I am guessing that with a MS in Chemical Engineering you will find good work, so as long as you aren't taking out more than you make in a year, I'd concentrate on where they send their alumni.

Thanks, I think you are right, I'll ask them about that.

There are a lot of pharmaceutical companies in NJ, so you may not have to travel far for internships. Just one thing to consider.
