NYC RA jobs?

Hi there, I'm looking to apply to clinical psychology RA jobs in NYC in the meantime between school (finished this semester) and next fall (if I get into a MA/PhD program, if not will work until next cycle). 

I have been applying to places from google listings, is there any way anyone else in the NYC recommends looking for jobs more systematically, any way you're hearing about open positions?

Don't just rely on public listings. Check your alma mater's listservs or job announcements, these often prioritize you and sometimes these openings are never publicly advertised.

Also check lab websites. Do this through the graduate or MD/PHD faculty page, as the links are often there. Sometimes openings are listed, and cold email labs you especially like. Sloan Kettering, Weil Cornell, Rockefeller, and NYU are some good schools in that area. Good luck.

If you are in touch with the faculty at your school, then you can also ask them if they are aware of anybody looking for full-time research assistants.
