I’m applying for a masters degree at UConn in mechanical engineering (not a top tier school). I have a 3.6 GPA and a B.S. degree from Rutgers and I’ve had a couple internships at well known companies and I have a full time job at Pratt & Whitney. I do however have 3 Ws on my transcript (non major related dropped for health and financial reasons) and I have 2 C+‘s and 2 C’s. However half these are in non major courses.
Will these hurt my chances assuming my GRE is solid and letters of rec are as well?
