Oxford SOP, very silly question

When they say "two to three pages," do they mean single spaced or double spaced?

because I can't find an answer to that anywhere

I'm at 1.25 pages single spaced, 2.5 double spaced and I've said all I really think I need to say.

please help!

Usually they mean single-spaced, but it never hurts to ask someone there! They'll definitely have the right answer.

For the record, I just did what I had to do to make mine fit (I was only given one page by my department). I think I wound up going single spaced and extended the margins slightly up and down.
