Molecular Biosciences PhD - UK (Cambridge) vs. US (Yale)

Hi guys! I'm a third year undergrad student in the UK and was recently accepted into the Cambridge LMB PhD Programme. I was also invited to "visit" the Yale BBS (Biological and Biomedical Sciences) Programme at the end of February, and the post-visit admissions rate should be at least 50-60% , though I don't know for sure yet whether I'll get in. The problem is that I will probably have to accept/reject the Cambridge offer before I visit or hear from Yale and I'm having a hard time deciding what to do.

 

I was wondering if anyone has advice regarding the programmes I applied to or doing a research PhD in the UK vs. US? Unfortunately, I am quite unfamiliar with the differences and advantages/disadvantages of research in the UK vs. US. I'd appreciate any advice I can get, thanks in advance!
