So a bit of a backstory, I'm trying to apply to both NUS and Berkeley. NUS has an intake at January 2021, while Berkeley has an intake of Fall 2021.
NUS' application announcement will be at November 2020, while Berkeley's announcement will be at April 2021.
I would prefer to go to Berkeley than NUS (both are terrific choices though). The fact is, that I'm still quite afraid that I won't be accepted to Berkeley, so having a safeguard of being accepted at NUS would be nice.
But with the dilemma of NUS' announcement being earlier than Berkeley, and assuming I got accepted to NUS, would I be able to delay my intake to later that year to wait out the announcement from Berkeley?
I've posed this question to NUS' administration, but have yet to receive an answer. Does anyone here have a similar experience?
