futurespeechpath1 Posted February 15, 2020 Posted February 15, 2020 I heard back from my undergrad institution yesterday and was waitlisted. I'm disappointed but not surprised because they accepted 8 students from direct admit and focus more on stats than experiences. I'm a little hurt that my professors didn't take into how involved I was through NSSLHA, volunteering, research, clinical experiences, etc. They might have only accepted 5 more students who didn't get direct admit. It just sucks because I know my stats aren't bad since I got into 3 other schools and interviewed at one yesterday too. What are the chances of getting accepted off the waitlisted at your undergrad school? I feel like they'll want to accept people who didn't go there for undergrad off the waitlist since they can't take all their own students.
