Summer@EPFL 2020

Hi 

Has anyone received any email from the summer@epfl program? I suppose interview request emails should have been sent by now.

I learnt that pre-selected candidates have already been mailed last thursday.  No luck :(

I suppose this means that we haven't been considered for the interviews, hence the program.

Btw, may I ask how did you know that the selected applicants have been notified?

I've got an Email 2nd week of Feb.

And I interviewed last week!

does it mean that applicants who have not yet received any invitation to interview are actually considered to have been rejected? sad :-(

I applied on February 1st and was accepted on the 28th without an Interview, so not getting an interview invitation does not necessarily mean you are rejected.

Received rejection e-mail one hour ago.

The professor emailed me directly and asked me for a response in the next few days. Then today I got another official E-Mail from summer@epfl. I am not sure if I will be able to accept, however.

"Thank you for your application to our Summer@EPFL internship programme.
 
We are announcing today the results of the selection process. You have been short-listed for acceptance but we have been informed that the interview process is ongoing. Please be patient a few more days for a final decision.
 
If you have not heard from anyone yet about an interview or if you will not see things progressing in the coming week or two, please write to Summer@EPFL.ch and we will try to ascertain the situation.

I got one official rejection notice from summer@epfl a few hours ago  I think if prof has directly contacted you, u are likely to be accepted! Anyway, best wishes!

I received the same email yesterday, and the day before yesterday I got an email from someone who asked for an interview this week.

Congratulations!

This is the third time that I got rejected so it wasn't as frustrating as before.

Luckily, I also secured another position for this summer.
