NYMC or NYU?

I recently received admission into these two schools! As I'm interested in medical SLP and NYMC seems to offer tons of medical opportunities and placements, I'm definitely interested in that program. However, I keep hearing from recent grads (even when I visited) that the professors are not friendly/helpful and that the administration is extremely disorganized. 

For NYU, I know it is a great program with a great reputation, but I am worried I may not be able to find medical opportunities as easily (though I do know it has its own rehab). Also, NYMC looks a bit isolated in a not-so-exciting NY suburb, while NYU is in the heart of the city. 

Does anyone happen to know anything about either of these programs?  Thanks!

I didn't go to NYU but from what I've heard it has no issue with helping students find medical placements... Their own hospitals takes NYU students every semester.
