Updating the Admissions Office on change in resume?

Question

Posted (edited)

I recently received a new job offer, however I submitted my applications around the end of February. Because this new job offer pertains to the programs I applied to (management), should I shoot an email to the admissions office updating them about it? Or is that considered a hassle to them and will delay my admissions decision? Thank you in advance :).

Do you think this information will drastically change their admission decision? I'm in a different field, so it may vary, but my instinct would be that it wouldn't really have an impact. If you're applying for Fall 2020, it's unlikely for you to have that much more experience from this job before you start the program.

I sent admissions offices some updates after I applied, but just for new awards/recognition and some new leadership stuff. Some were happy to hear it, others said congrats but we don't accept new info post-application. I would echo @PsyDuck90 though-- not sure how much it would really matter if you're applying for FA20 given that most programs are nearly done with assessing apps and you would only be at the new job for a few months anyways. But if you think it'll boost your application a decent amount, there's not really a huge drawback to telling them.
