Zeetek Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Anyone out there waiting on a decision from McGill University for the MASc in Occupational Health..the wait is killing me. Doesn't seem like many people (on the forums at least) have applied to this program. To all those still waiting...I feel your pain.
Zeetek Posted April 21, 2010 Author Posted April 21, 2010 Is anyone out there still waiting for McGill....or know anything about their admissions process?
cal4802 Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 I commented on your profile, but didnt see this. I'm still waiting for econ.. i've been told that no rejection/no acceptance is actually not a bad place to be, (in the sense that many have already been rejected so you're still 'in the runnings'.. they send out top phd/masters offers, and after that they dip perhaps into w/e 'pool' you are in now.. have you been officially waitlisted or just no word at all? i was also advised that no word might even be better than waitlisted officially because it means they are still 'reviewing your application', more promising than the wl
Zeetek Posted April 22, 2010 Author Posted April 22, 2010 There are 4 of us from my current program who have applied and none of us has heard anything. According to an email, the notifications are supposed to go out mid to late April but no other correspondence has happened. I've only applied to two schools (U of T being the other one, and the long shot as they only take 10 students). They sure take their time reviewing..if only they knew they had our future in their hands! I'm not sure if your Masters is course or thesis based..so maybe funding is holding up the process? My program is course based.
