Deferring PGS-D Award

Hi everyone, 

I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to defer the PGS-D award. I was enrolled in a combined MA/PhD program, but then decided to leave with just the master's (finishing this summer) to apply for a PhD in a different province for a September 2021 start date. I am wondering if I can defer the award to this start date?

I am also trying to find out if it is possible. I have emailed the NSERC office and have not heard back yet. Do you hear from the NSERC office?
