polonium84 Posted May 7, 2020 Posted May 7, 2020 Just got an email from the Office of Admissions: As testing centers around the world are shut down because of COVID-19, some Graduate Center master’s programs that normally require GRE scores to apply for admission are going to temporarily waive this requirement. These programs are Classics, Cognitive Neuroscience, Data Science, International Migration Studies, Nanoscience, Philosophy, Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences, and Women’s and Gender Studies. For Fall 2020 applicants only, these programs join Data Analysis and Visualization, Digital Humanities, Liberal Studies, and Middle Eastern Studies in not requiring the GRE. The program’s admissions committee may request additional writing samples or interviews as an alternative means of assessing your qualifications. If you have already taken this exam, please upload your scores as usual as it will help the committee review your application.
