Still awaiting a decision from Baylor

I applied June 1st for Baylor University's online program. Each day I checked the portal for a decision there was nothing there. After reading a few threads, I seen students that were pretty much in the same boat and when they decided to reach out to Baylor to see what was going on, an hour later they received a rejection letter. For that reason I choose to be patient and just see what happens. I finally got a phone call Aug 4th from an admission counselor stating that my application had not been submitted bc there were 3 items missing from the application. She also stated that the original counselor I'd been in contact with since 2019 had left the department ?. As in thats why you hadn't heard from us....By the end of last week I submitted the 3 things that were missing. I asked her at this point are they even still accepting students for the fall 2020 cohort, to which she replied "we have closed that section although there is a slight possibility for some wiggle room into it, so for that we will grant acceptance for the Jan 2021 cohort". It's now August 11th & classes start August 24th and still no word ?     

Has anyone had a similar experience with this school?
