GeminiSJG Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 I'm a 22 year old ma student and all my courses are online. As well, it seems the university has limited functions and all regarding places like the library, so I was wondering, what is a good way to go out and meet friends during this whole covid situation?
RyanS Posted October 25, 2020 Posted October 25, 2020 Have you checked to see if some of the student clubs are still meeting, either in person distanced or online? You can (should, really) also get involved in special projects or functions, like student governance or task forces (e.g., we have a group on campus called Committee for Equity and Justice that involves students in planning events or protesting). Just some ideas, but you may meet others while also getting good fodder for your vita.
elilester Posted December 13, 2020 Posted December 13, 2020 Now, of course, it's difficult to meet in person, my friends and I are conducting zoom sessions, it helps) It's really worth checking if other students meet in some clubs or cafes, maybe just with a limit on the number of people.
