SOP is fairly important. “SOP” is short for Statement of Purpose. It is also known as a personal statement document depending upon the university. It should usually contain the following: Your introduction. Your education and your career. Why you are interested in joining the particular program/University. Discuss the course content of the course you are applying to. What do you plan on doing after your degree. and much more as per use. Hope it helps.
