When do I thank the LOR writers?

Hi, I just received the notifications that some of my professors submitted their LOR.

I wonder if I should send immediate thank-notes to them or can wait until I complete me application.

I am a stickler for etiquette.  Sending a quick thank-you email now is appropriate and best but if you wait until after you finish your applications is not a big deal, either.

Thanks! Sending an immediate thank-you note sounds about right!
