zas287 Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Hello !I'm a biotechnology undergrad and I'm applying for a masters in environmental sciences and sustainability. I've had a couple of courses on environmental sciences and technology and frankly wish to explore and learn more in this field but I'm stuck with my SOP and I personally feel like I don't have enough academic background(theoretical) or practical experience to backup my resolve on my SOP.As for a research question, I'm a novice and haven't really explored much to come up with a question. Here are a few things that I thought would support my SOP Presented a relevant research paper in class(effect of climate change on European fisheries and climate risk assesment) college electives - environmental science, environmental biotechnology, ecology and society Coursera - a few courses (in progress)(will the certificate be mandatory?) Project on industrial contaminant(napthenic acid) treatment and risk I'm not that optimistic about my chances but i don't want to leave without giving it my all. Any ideas?Anyone who'd be willing to review my SOP?I'll PM it to you (fairly new to this forum so I've to figure out how) I'm applying for fall 2021 and I'm already extremely late so any help will be appreciated ! Any info on unis which are known for this course will also be appreciated! Thank you! P.S :I wish I had discovered this space much earlier, smh
