I have applied to the Graduate Program in Mathematics at UCSB for the Fall 2021 admission cycle. In my UCSB online application portal, I have been assigned a "Perm number" which wasn't there before the deadline of application, i.e., January 2, 2021. What does it mean? Does it have to do anything with my admission status? Can anyone let me know please?
