Middle East/Islamic studies

Hi everyone, 

I applied to three different programs: a master’s program in Middle East studies (Harvard), a dual master’s program in Islamic studies and Muslim cultures (Columbia) and a PhD program in Middle East and North African studies (University of Arizona Tucson). Has anyone else applied to any of these programs? If so, what is your background? How are you holding up? I’m a total nervous wreck! Any tips for getting through the waiting game? And also, has anyone heard anything back from any of these programs? Good luck to everyone!

Hi! I also applied to the master's program in Middle Eastern Studies at Harvard. I am super nervous while waiting to hear back. I assume we will hear back late February/Early March? I hope we will hear back sooner!!!

Wow that’s so great! Yes, this is incredibly nerve-wracking! Where did you do your undergrad? Good luck! Definitely let me know if you hear anything and I’ll do the same!
