All my applications (12 in total) are still ongoing but I have not received a single email. And besides here, it seems nobody is talking much about PhD in Finance... I applied to ~20 schools and completed 5 interviews so far. All of them have second round. I believe most interviews will be conducted in Feb. It's rare to get an offer without interview.
