Joshua Helios Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 (edited) Dear All, I wish to pursue a full time masters course with heavy concentration on strategy. I don't want to do an MBA. I seek a full time course which goes into the math of the subject. Actually I want to pursue a doctoral program in strategy later on. So I want to invest in a good masters course now which will prepare me well for a future PhD. Undergraduate GPA 2.76 Distance MBA course GPA 3.80 Work Exp 5 years as a Business Intelligence consultant. I also took part in a 12 month fellowship program,a full time community development program on rural development for poor farmers in India. GMAT - 680 So hopefully my work exp would make up for my low undergraduate GPA. Some of subjects that I wish to study are 1.Corporate Development: Mergers, Acquisitions and Alliances 2.Corporate Strategy and Organisation Design 3.Negotiation Analysis 4.Strategy Implementation 5.Marketing Strategy and Economic Analyses 6.Economics of Strategy 7.Technology Strategy Consulting 8. Strategy Innovation Management Since my GMAT score is 2.5 years old. And since many MS courses ask GRE, I am willing to do that as well. If I could just pin down the right schools for my requirement............. I'll know which exam to take. Are there any courses on strategy or any that cater to my requirements? Joshua Helios Posted May 16, 2010 Author Posted May 16, 2010 I found a MSc course in strategy. Aalto univesity, Finland. Cheap and looks good. Anyone know about the course here?
