socalmom Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 I was recently accepted into the University of Nebraska Kearney's MSE-SLP program. I received an email from the university today, notifying that the state of California has not yet made a determination in regards to whether or not I can become licensed in the state one I earn my degree. Now I am wondering what I should do. The masters program starts in August and I am still finishing up leveling coursework so I can start. Wondering now if it's worth my time??? I've left multiple messages for the SLP board here in California but can't get ahold of anyone. Any help is greatly appreciated.
slpforme Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 I don't have an exact answer for you but I have seen posts where others have shared that CA has issues with online programs, or it least ones that are entirely online. Hopefully you will here more from the board or in searching this forum. Good luck!
