I am an international student who applied to a university in US to study PhD. I was invited for a recruitment weekend event at my top choice on 12-13 Feb, but I didn't hear a thing since then. In total 4 students were invited to interview with the PI, but only 2 of them will be selected. I have been checking the decision results for this university on gradcafe all the time, there are rejections, acceptances and waitlists. I am relieving myself thinking that may be I didn't hear anything because decision times differ between PIs or program tracks. What do you think? Is not hearing anything yet a month after the interviews a sign of rejection?

P.S.: I know I can mail them to ask about my condition, but it scares me lol.
