UT Austin MSIS Admissions

Has anyone heard back or have any updates on the MSIS program?

Emailed the graduate coordinator last week, was told it usually takes them two months after the initial application deadline for them to make final decisions. So in all likelihood decisions will be released early April which matches what I've read/heard about in past cycles.

All of this waiting is wreaking havoc on my anxiety. I just want to know already ?

Did folks get any updates ? Literally getting gray hairs at this point!!

I also emailed admissions, who just told me that they had over 700 applicants....

I emailed last week and they said they’ll try and finish by the end of this week but no promises. Can’t believe that many people applied.

Still waiting here : ( Getting anxious as the results tab here shows at least three people have heard so far, two in late March.

Hi! I just got my acceptance email (April 15 at 12:40PM). I was a little scared because one of my recommendation letters was submitted super last minute.

I went to check the website and found out that I am admitted! Although I have not got the email yet, but I am glad to see that!

I got admitted today too! So nice to finally know since this was the only school I applied to.

An update from me is I got an email saying I was accepted, the portal still said in review, and then several hours later I got a followup email saying "It seems that the admission decisions we are trying to post on your application is not being accepted. Until the admissions center can officially process your documents this iSchool letter is ineffective."

So that's incredibly stressful and I don't know what it means.
