radStatBoy Posted October 4, 2021 Posted October 4, 2021 (edited) Undergrad Institution: Top 100 US university, public, graduating after the third yearMajor(s): Applied Mathematics and Statistics Minor: NoneGPA: 3.75+ Type of Student: Asian male GRE: Not sure if I should submit it, looks pretty bad to me Verbal-155 (67%) Quant-169 (94%) AW-4.5 (80%) GRE Subject: Not planning Coursework (completed) Lower division: Cal 1 waived by entrance exam, Calc2-3, Applied Linear Algebra, Intro to Proofs, all A- Upper division: Mathematical stats(A), Calc4 differential equations(A-), Financial Math(A), Data Analysis(A), Graph Theory(B+), Finite Mathematical structure and combinatorics(A), Probability Theory(B+), Econometrics(B, screwed by a prof that doesn't reply emails), Stochastic Models(A), Game Theory(A), Graduate level: Regression Theory(A) Coursework (current) Upper division: Programming: python and MATLAB, Time Series Analysis Graduate level: Design of Experiment Research/ working experiences: working on a research project but not sure how it will go Skills R, Javascript, HTML, currently learning Python and MATLAB Teaching experience - TAed 3 semesters in upper division courses(2 for combinatorics and 1 for data analysis) Letters of recommendation: 1 from professor I've TAed for(Mostly strong). One from professor I TAed for and score an A in his graduate course(Mostly strong). One from a Distinguished professor(positive, not sure about strength).
