Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA) Personal Letter Help - Ottawa, ON, Canada

Hi everyone,

I am in the process of applying to the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs. For those of you currently enrolled in this Masters Program, can you please give me some advice on the personal statement.

I am interested in doing the course-based route focusing on foreign policy and diplomacy. Do I specify this in my statement of intent? Also, do I need to specify what research I am interested and which professors research I am interested in as well? I plan on explaining my future goals with this masters.

Any advice would be great, this is the first time I write one of these for a Masters Program.
