Scholarships

In USA, are the availability of scholarships for masters courses dependent on the period of application i.e. sessions early in the year provide more opportunities than sessions in the fall for scholarships?.....especially for masters in mathematics,statistics and engineering

As the academic year in the USA begins in the fall, I think the availability of support would be greatest then. Many universities do not allow students to begin in the spring, and if they do I would not expect them to have funding available.
