Are there any summer research grants or funded language programs for unenrolled/incoming grad students?

Hello, 

I'm interested in conducing independent research this summer before I start grad school in the fall. Since I won't be enrolled at my institution until the fall, I'm not eligible for any of their funding for this summer. Are there any programs that will fund unenrolled recent graduates? Trying to make the most of this summer before I start grad school

If you’re planning on studying languages spoken in South or Southeast Asia, you should be eligible for SASLI or SEASLI summer language programs. Both of them offer FLAS and tuition scholarships.
