Any thoughts on Binghampton University?

This department is 75% international students according to their website and seems to focus on historical sociology. Any thoughts on this program? While my 1st choice would be the New School for Social Research, this is another option.

Without knowing anything about your research interests, I can't say whether it'll be a good fit for you. What I can say that the field of historical sociology hasn't been doing well job-wise, so make sure they have another field that would offer more applicability.

I asked if you or anyone had thoughts on the program. I assume that anyone who is going into sociology in general is taking a risk on the job market when they are done. On the other hand I am not, nor want to be a number cruncher. Is that what you mean by applicability?
