inbrooklyn Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 I was waitlisted at my first choice (M.A) program. The letter said they "are not prepared to make a final decision" on my application. Any suggestions on things I can do to boost my chances?
labmouse Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Any suggestions on things I can do to boost my chances? Convince the people ahead of you to not go to your school of choice? I'm #2 at Concordia, so I'm waiting to see if anyone drops out.
rising_star Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Ask them if they would like to see additional materials from you.
sphinxace Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Hi,guys! I was noticed by Upenn that I am only on the wait list. I really want this offer, but it seems a small chance to be picked from the wait list. Could some one give me some advices on what to do now? Thank you!
missycari Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Ask if the waitlist is ranked. You could probably start by asking your prospective advisor, who is likely really hoping you'll get off the waitlist. They often have an idea. Good luck
