Just wondering if anyone has been admitted and is considering enrolling this year. Also wondering where else you've been admitted if you got in.

I don't understand... I haven't heard anything back from them for the PhD in English program, and yet I haven't seen any acceptances on the board--do you think that they would wait this long to accept anyone, or did they forget to send me a rejection / no one who was accepted uses this site? That seems pretty strange as it seems like most programs are represented on the board here, both for rejections and acceptances. :roll:

Thinking about it--at this late point (since a lot of rejections have gone out) you are probably on some sort of waitlist. Have you tried calling or emailing someone in the department?

I am contact with the director of graduate studies there, and she said she'd let me know as soon as she heard about acceptances. But I haven't heard one way or the other yet.

Thanks guys, that is helpful to hear, what a nerve-wracking wait (it is my last option). I do wonder why the process takes so long.
