The mind flayer Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Prompt: The effectiveness of a country's leaders is best measured by examining the well-being of that country's citizens. Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the claim. In developing and supporting your position, be sure to address the most compelling reasons and/or examples that could be used to challenge your position. Great leaders are absolutely created for the welfare of the people. Leaders are in power by the demands placed on them by the people. Their act of diligence, perseverance, responsibilities for the people is what makes the efficacy of the leader more profound. Great leaders like Martin Luther King, Mahatma Gandhi, FDR played an efficient role in shaping the country for the people’s welfare. The country succeeded just because of their continual efforts for the people. Mahatma Gandhi is a well known freedom fighter for India who played an imminent role for the Independence of India from the British. If not for his persistent efforts for the people, Then India would actually be in an utter doom. Another example is that of Martin Luther King who is of utmost importance in the history of America and fought for the equality of black people in America. His continual efforts and his non-violent protests is what contributed for his success. FDR is considered one of the renowned leaders who helped fight the great economic depression in America in 1932 by introducing the “new deal” for the welfare of the people. He helped resurface economic regression for the people. This effort is one is the major reasons that pulled out America from the downturn of economic depression. Leaders are continually being tested and constantly need to change based on people’s demands. Infact, a great and strong leader is one who reassures the people in times of crises without being complacent. Especially during these unprecedented Covid times, Leaders are being tested and need to be completely driven by hope to keep the people safe and assured. The New Zealand’s president, Jacinda Ardern is one such example who played an active role in controlling the cases and putting up wise restrictions for the country’s good will. However, if the country’s leader remains apathetic about the people, The country is not going to be in a good shape and eventually that government is going to be dissolved. One such example is the reign of Hitler in Germany. Even though he wanted his country to be in good prospects, his vicious attempts by the way he treated people didn’t get him anywhere and led to his eternal doom. Thus in conclusion, the efficacy of great leaders is dependent on people, A great leader will always bring the country to greater prospects and will help develop the country eventually but a bad leader who doesn’t care for the welfare of the people are eventually going to fail.

Great leaders are created for the optimal welfare of the people. Leaders are impowered by the trust placed in them by those they lead. Their acts of diligence, perseverance, and responsibility for the people is what makes the efficacy of the leader most profound. Great leaders such as Martin Luther King, Mahatma Gandhi, and Franklin D. Roosevelt played preeminent roles in shaping the country for the people’s benefit. These countries succeeded due, at least in part, to their continued efforts for the people. Mahatma Gandhi is a well known freedom fighter for India who played an critical role for the Independence of India from the British. If not for Gandhi's efforts for the people, India would have been an inferior state . Another example is that of Martin Luther King who is of utmost importance in U.S. history and fought for the civil rights of all. His persist efforts utilizing non-violent protest methods as his technique for success. Roosevelt is considered one of the strongest leaders helping the U.S. breakout of the Great Depression in 1930s America by introducing the “New Deal” for the welfare of the people. He helped resurface economic resilience for the U.S. people. This New Deal is one is the major interventions that pulled America from the downward slope of economic depression. Leaders are continually being tested and must adapt to changes based on people’s needs and demands. In fact, a great and strong leader is one who reassures the people in times of crises without becoming complacent. Especially during this unforeseen pandemic, leaders are being tested and need to be responsive yet empathetic to keep the people safe and feeling reassured. The New Zealand’s president, Jacinda Ardern is one example of a leader who is playing an active role in controlling disease cases and installing wise restrictions for the country’s benefit. However, if the country’s leader remains apathetic about the people, the country is not going to continue being solvent. One such example is the regime of Hitler in Germany, though he wanted his country to be successful, his racist and anti-Semitic treatment of citizens didn’t help and led to Germany's ultimate defeat. Thus in conclusion, the efficacy of great leaders is dependent on the people they lead. A great leader will bring his/her country to greater prosperity and a better quality of life, but a poor leader who disregards the welfare of the people will eventually fail. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________-Mind Flyer...this is a buffed-up version you could work from if you like.
