THenri Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 Hey! I would like to know how much it is usually discounted for our stipend. We are considering a top private university from us, for example. The stipend is $2900. How much is discounted from this amount? thank you in advance ?
Sigaba Posted February 12, 2022 Posted February 12, 2022 IME it depends upon the way the funds are disbursed. Sometimes taxes are withheld, sometimes it is assumed that the recipient is putting money aside to cover tax liabilities later.
