Mellon/ACLS Dissertation Completion Fellowships 2022

Just wanted to begin this thread for the 2022 ACLS Dissertation Completion Fellowship.

still waiting...it looks like last year the acceptance emails went out March 15. gotta wait a little longer ?

Agreed. Very likely we will hear back on the 15th around 4 pm EST, if successful.

Still no news. But I looked at past data so it could literally be any time this week in addition to multiple waves of acceptances/rejections. It seems people think today may be the day. I had a colleague in my department awarded the fellowship last year. she was not notified until mid-April, just FYI

Thanks for sharing Chris! I personally knew an archaeologist at UVA who got the award two weeks ago. I assume he was among the first batch of awardees. They are probably waiting to see if anyone turns down the award before sending all notifications then. Hopefully we will hear back next week.

I have yet to hear anything from ACLS. I am assuming that the others are right about the situation. Seems like a slower roll out for preliminary acceptances/rejections.

Just got my official rejection. Good luck to those who haven't heard back anything. There might still be a chance for you!
