Penn SP2 MSSP Decision Thread

Starting this thread for anyone who has applied to or been accepted to Penn's SP2 Master of Science in Social Policy program.

I am still waiting on results. Has anyone been accepted yet? If so, what kind of funding have you received?

I haven't heard back either. Waiting anxiously. Hopefully, we will by the end of this week.

I hope so as well. I've been accepted to UVA's MPP program and am probably leaning more towards that one, but still anxious about UPenn's program. Good luck!

Anyone hear anything or reach out to SP2? After anxiously waiting all of February and receiving decisions from schools that I applied to significantly later than their Dec 15 deadline, I am quite annoyed with the school and program .... especially considering that funding negotiations with other programs need to be made and decisions are due in almost a month.

I emailed the admission committee about two weeks ago, and they told me that decisions would be released by the end of March. There appear to be far more applicants for this cycle than in previous years, so many programs have to push back the decision release date.
