lizzy99
Hi guys! Please help me to decide! I got accepted to the EdM program in Instructional Design and Media (TEIT) at Columbia TC and the MSEd program in Learning Science and Technology at UPenn GSE. I don’t mind to spend 5 semesters to complete an EdM degree at Columbia. I’m an international student, and I’m 80% sure that I want to pursue a doctoral degree one day. Which one would you guys recommend?
learner22
UPenn program was too short for me. I did not even apply. You will start your program and get ready for your final project right away. There is no time to settle in and learn. Also got accepted for IDM at Columbia today, congrats.

Which one would you guys recommend? It’s difficult to recommend one program over the other without knowing your specific goals and interests. It may be helpful to consider the differences between the two programs. Columbia's EdM program focuses on instructional design and media, while Penn’s MSEd program focuses on learning science and technology. In addition, the Columbia program is 5 semesters long, while the Penn program is 2 semesters long. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide which program aligns best with your goals and interests.
