UBC: How long after applying to UBC did you get a decision email?

I applied 2 weeks ago, and am already curious to how long it typically takes. It is for a Masters program, and I have secured a supervisor.

I think it depends on the program. I received an interview request about 6 weeks after I applied, and a decision email the day after the interview.

Completely depends on the program. I'm in Urban Planning (research stream), and they make you jump through a whole lot of hoops. Here's my experience for Sept 2022 intake. 

• Instead of reaching out to supervisors individually, they make you do pre-apps in October/November (form template, which gets emailed to faculty you're interested in working with). I received an invitation to apply by December 15th, meaning that one of the supervisors indicates they are interested in seeing your full application.
• The full application was due on February 1st, but your references have until February 10th to send in their letters.
• If you haven't been weeded out yet, they send invitations to interview with your prospective supervisor in the beginning of March. 
• Final decisions are made sometime between March 15th and April 1st (allegedly, still waiting on mine).
